The Bronze Covered Escutcheon is a traditional round keyhole cover designed to neatly conceal the lock opening when not in use. The hinged lid swings smoothly across the keyhole, helping to reduce drafts and prevent dust from entering the lock, while also providing a clean, finished appearance on the face of the door. Its simple circular shape makes it suitable for both period and contemporary interiors where a discreet but practical detail is desired.
Cast from solid bronze, the escutcheon has a satisfying weight and a refined surface that complements other door furniture in the same finish.
