The Bronze Wide Letterplate offers the same clean, traditional styling as the standard version but with a broader backplate to suit larger or more substantial front doors. The sprung flap opens smoothly for mail delivery and closes firmly afterwards, helping to limit draughts and reduce rattling in windy conditions. Its simple, unfussy design works well across both period and modern entrances, especially when paired with complementary bronze door furniture.
Cast from solid bronze, the letterplate has a weighty feel and a refined finish that will mature naturally with use. The two finishes create distinct visual effects: Dark Bronze provides a warm, heritage appearance, while White Bronze offers a lighter, cooler tone with a subtle metallic sheen. The plate is secured using a threaded bar with a washer and encapsulated decorative nut on the reverse, ensuring a neat, professional installation on thicker or wider doors.
