Our Night Latches are York security deadlocking nightlatches, available in a choice of two sizes, 40mm & 60mm. We offer these latches in range of finishes to co-ordinate with our front door furniture collection. Choose from aged brass, bronze, chrome, black, satin brass and satin nickel.
Historically, this type of front door lock was intended for use at night, hence the name. The lock is fitted to the surface of the interior side of a front door and can be opened and closed with the small lever turn. From the outside, the lock has a cylinder type of escutcheon which is operated by a key. There is a sliding button on the nightlatch to hold the bolt in an open or closed position.
Also known as a Yale night latch, or a cylinder night latch, this is a popular choice for a front door. See our matching Brass Cylinder Pull to complete the look and give a professional finish. For extra security, we recommend the use of an additional 5 Lever Deadlock.
Please note: the 40mm & 60mm sizes refer to the distance from the outside edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole.
Maintenance Tip: Regularly remove dirt and watermarks with a soft cloth. Do not use metal cleaners or aerosol sprays as these will damage the lacquer.

- Returns are accepted within 60 days of purchase.

Replacement Policy
